Over an 18 month negotiation a 2-year sponsorship deal for the TV broadcasting sponsorship rights of The Premiership, Bundesliga, Serie A, Eredivisie and The Scottish Football broadcast in the UK for bet365 – with one of my main TV media suppliers at that time. The media value we accrued was amazing value and bet365 realised incredible ROI which helped establish their brand as one of the leading bookmakers in the UK years ago. I built a telemarketing and telesales department from scratch for Fortum, selling electricity and gas to business customers. After establishing that sales team I was promoted to managing a portfolio of 3,000 business customers.

My job was to renew their annual contracts which I did most successfully, as I never lost more than a handful of customers in any given month, and some months I did not lose a single customer.

At the same time I was selling 3-year contracts when everyone else was selling 1 year deals, and this got be promoted again to look after all energy brokers south of Birmingham who controlled a lot of the biggest UK energy contracts.
