Over an 18 month negotiation a 2-year sponsorship deal for the TV broadcasting sponsorship rights of The Premiership, Bundesliga, Serie A, Eredivisie and The Scottish Football broadcast in the UK for bet365 – with one of my main TV media suppliers at that time. The media value we accrued was amazing value and bet365 realised incredible ROI which helped establish their brand as one of the leading bookmakers in the UK years ago. This campaign ran for 2 years.

Solution:
I worked with Betfred for a few years helping them push their brand online. I helped promote their casino, bingo and poker sites when they were new. I worked for Blacktower Financial Management acquiring new business in the US and Europe for them.

Taking over from other agencies, I managed to halve their PPC costs on a CPL basis, whilst at the same time boosting lead volume by ~4X.

SEO results were also amazing we vastly increased online conversion rates onsite, and increased organic rankings by around 50% in our first few months work alone.

I negotiated an 80% discount on a major UK TV sponsorship property – the UK’s first game show broadcast at primetime to the whole country, with a poker theme.

Telemarketing + Renewals

Solution:
I built a telemarketing and telesales department from scratch for Fortum, selling electricity and gas to business customers. After establishing that sales team I was promoted to managing a portfolio of 3,000 business customers.

My job was to renew their annual contracts which I did most successfully, as I never lost more than a handful of customers in any given month, and some months I did not lose a single customer.

At the same time I was selling 3-year contracts when everyone else was selling 1 year deals, and this got be promoted again to look after all energy brokers south of Birmingham who controlled a lot of the biggest UK energy contracts.
